Frequently asked questions
What does an extrusion melt pump do?
It sits between the extruder and the die to deliver a steady melt flow. MAAG says EXTREX pumps give more consistent delivery, remove extruder pulsation, raise output and lower energy use.
What is the EXTREX X6 Class?
A MAAG melt pump design with higher volumetric efficiency and lower energy use.
How fast does a melt pump pay back?
MAAG states that return on investment is typically within one year, depending on the line.
