Are PCT sanitary pumps 3A certified?
APV sanitary pumps and valves are built to 3A, FDA, USDA and EHEDG standards. Confirm the certification needed for your application when you request a quote.
What is a homogenizer used for?
Homogenizers create stable emulsions and dispersions and break up cells, for products such as dairy, sauces, beverages and pharmaceuticals.
Can diaphragm pumps be used for food?
Yes. Yamada offers FDA compliant pump construction with FDA compliant elastomers and alloys.
What is a 30 Ra surface finish?
Ra is the average surface roughness. A 30 Ra finish is smooth enough to resist product build up and clean effectively in sanitary systems.
