Chemical resistant linings, coatings and flooring

PCT supplies RCC (Rema Corrosion Control) polymeric corrosion protection: lining systems for tanks and trenches, heavy and light duty coatings for steel and concrete, and chemical resistant flooring, in epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester chemistries, including FDA and USDA compliant systems.

Whose corrosion protection systems does PCT supply?

PCT supplies RCC, formerly known as Rema Corrosion Control, for polymeric linings, coatings, flooring systems and grouts. RCC systems protect steel and concrete from acids, caustics and solvents.

Which RCC systems are available?

RCC systems are grouped by where they go and how much chemical exposure they face, from splash zones to full immersion.

SystemTypical use
Lining systemsTanks, sumps, trenches and containment in immersion service
Heavy duty coating systemsSteel and concrete with constant or severe chemical exposure
Light duty coating systemsSplash, spill and fume exposure
Corofloor flooring systemsChemical resistant floors in process areas
Monolithic flooring systemsSeamless floors for heavy traffic and washdown
GroutsChemical resistant grouting and setting

How do you choose the right lining or coating?

Choose by chemical and concentration, exposure type, temperature and the surface you are protecting. Immersion service needs a lining, while splash and spill exposure can often use a coating.

Our guide to choosing an RCC system covers the questions to answer first, and the PCT quote form asks for chemicals, concentration, exposure and whether the structure is steel or concrete.

Frequently asked questions

What is RCC?

RCC (Rema Corrosion Control) makes polymeric linings, coatings, flooring systems and grouts that protect steel and concrete from chemical attack.

What is the difference between a lining and a coating?

A lining is a thicker system built for continuous immersion or flow, such as inside a tank. A coating is thinner and protects against splash, spill and fumes.

Are FDA compliant linings available?

Yes. RCC offers FDA compliant linings and floorings and FDA and USDA protective coatings for food and beverage plants.

What details help PCT recommend a system?

The chemicals and their concentrations, temperature, whether exposure is immersion or splash, and whether the surface is steel or concrete.
